The goal (see what I did there?) of the logo needed to be something bold and dynamic, but not so intense that it scares the freshmen into joining the chess club instead. And let’s not forget the Warwick colors — those hallowed hues that must simultaneously strike fear into the hearts of opponents and look good on a hoodie.

In the end, I tried to design a logo that the team will wear with pride, whether they’re winning championships or just trying to figure out where they left their cleats.

And the coolest part... The first season wearing the new crest resulted in a 10-0 Lancaster Lebanon League Title and a run into the PA state tourney ending the year 21-2-1.
